CG PET 2025 exam on May 8; eligibility criteria, paper pattern

NEW DELHI: The Chhattisgarh Professional Examination Board (CG PEB) has announced the Chhattisgarh Pre Engineering Test (CG PET) 2025 exam date. As per the official schedule, the CG PET 2025 exam will be conducted on May 8. The detailed CG PET 2025 schedule is yet to be announced.

The CG PET 2025 registration has not yet commenced. Candidates will be able to fill up the CG PET 2025 registration form by visiting the official website, vyapam.cgstate.gov.in. Last year, the CG PET registration started in March and closed in April. Last year, the CG PET exam was conducted on June 13. The CG PET 2024 counselling process was held in August.

Candidates will be required to pay an application fee to complete the CG PET 2025 registration process. Candidates belonging to general category candidates are required to pay Rs 200. The CG PET 2025 application fee for candidates belonging to Other Backward Classes (OBC) is Rs 150 and for Scheduled Caste (SC), Scheduled Tribe (ST), Rs 100. (as per past trends)

CG PET 2025: Eligibility criteria

Candidates can have a look at the CG PET 2025 eligibility criteria below.

  • Candidates applying for CG PET 2024 should have passed Class 12 or equivalent exam with physics and mathematics as compulsory subjects, along with either chemistry, biology, biotechnology, as one of the optional subjects.
  • General candidates are required to have scored 45% in Class 12.
  • Reserved category candidates are required to have scored 40% in Class 12.
  • The upper age limit is 30 years of age as on July 1, 2025.

CG PET 2025: Exam pattern

The CG PET 2025 exam will be held in offline mode. The duration of the exam is 180 minutes. The paper will be divided into three sections- physics, chemistry and mathematics. The CG PET 2025 exam will only consist of multiple-choice-question. There will be a total of 150 questions, each carrying 1 mark. There will be no negative marking for incorrect answers.
