NEW DELHI: The National Testing Agency (NTA) has published the answer key for the Quality Council of India (QCIN), Office of the Controller General of Patents, Designs and Trade Marks (CGPDTM) prelims recruitment exam 2023.

Candidates who appeared for the prelims exam 2023 can download the CGPDTM 2023 answer key on the official website at exams.nta.ac.in. Candidates who are not satisfied with the CGPDTM 2023 answer key can raise an objection till December 28. The CGPDTM answer key objection fee is Rs 200 per question.

A panel of subject experts will review the candidates' challenges. If a challenge turns out to be correct, the answer key will be revised. The result will be based on the final answer key. No individual will be notified about the acceptance or non-acceptance of the challenges raised.

NTA aims to fill a total of 553 vacancies for the posts of examiner of patents and designs, in various departments.

NTA held the preliminary exam on December 21. The test was held at 260 patent office locations in 103 cities across the country. A total of 89,657 candidates appeared for the examination.

The CGPDTM selection process includes- prelims, mains, interview and document verification.

Steps to raise objection against the CGPDTM 2023 answer key

Candidates can follow these instructions to download the CGPDTM 2023 answer key

  • Go to the official website, exams.nta.ac.in/DPIIT
  • Click on the link that reads “Challenge (s) regarding answer key”
  • You will be redirected to a log in page.
  • Enter your credentials such as registration number and password.
  • Next, click on ‘challenges’
  • Question IDs and answers will be displayed on your screen.
  • Click on the question you want to challenge.
  • Enter your objection details.
  • Attach supporting documents.
  • Pay the prescribed fee.
  • Click on “Save your claim and submit.”
  • Take a screenshot of the confirmation page.
