Chandigarh University partners with over 515 institutes across 100 countries to boost global outreach

The partnerships between Chandigarh University and global institutions aim to provide students, faculty cross-border research, internship opportunities.
NEW DELHI: Chandigarh University has partnered with over 515 universities across 100 counties and six continents with an aim to provide students with a global learning experience. The university has also established connections with over 350 QS-ranked universities, the official statement from the university said.
Chandigarh University has become the first university in India to establish such an extensive network of foreign collaborations, the university claimed.
“These alliances span diverse regions and cultures, empowering students and faculty with opportunities for cross-border research, student exchanges, internships, and exposure to global best practices. As part of this initiative, we have successfully established connections with some of the world’s most prestigious educational institutions, including more than 350 universities ranked by QS,” the university said.
“By creating a global network, the university has enriched the academic experience, fostered cultural diversity, and provided students with the skills needed to thrive in an increasingly interconnected world. Moreover, CU’s partnerships with international universities also facilitate faculty development, exchange programs, and collaborative research, which contribute significantly to the institution’s academic excellence,” the university added.
Chandigarh University Global Expansion
The collaboration with QA-ranked universities will enable Chandigarh University to offer students access to a vast array of academic programmes, research, and international networking opportunities. This also opens doors to experiences such as collaborative research projects, dual-degree programs, and participation in global conferences.
Besides global expansion, the university remains committed to delivering world-class education and nurturing global citizens equipped to thrive in an evolving world, it further added.
