Several coaching centres and subject experts will share CLAT 2026 paper analysis and difficulty level for each section, which will help candidates evaluate their expected marks vs ranks, as per trends. The Consortium of NLUs will likely publish the CLAT answer key 2025 within a week. Candidates will also have an opportunity to object to the CLAT 2026 provisional answer key. After evaluating all objections CLAT final answer key 2025 will be published along with the results.
Candidates can also use the Careers360 CLAT rank predictor 2026 to compare their expected cut-off ranks for each NLU and get their estimated scores. Candidates will be able to fill in their most preferred NLU for LLM and LLB admissions.

What is a good score in CLAT 2026?
A good attempt in CLAT 2026 will be anywhere between 105-110 questions. With an attempt between these parameters, candidates can expect a score of around 98-100 marks, which is enough for admission in the top 3 NLUs.
A good score for general category candidates can range between 90-100+ marks, for EWS between 85-95+ marks and for other category candidates is 80-90+ marks.

The expected CLAT marks vs ranks 2026, as per trends, are as follows.

As per the CLAT 2026 marking scheme, candidates will be awarded one mark for each correct answer, and 0.25 marks will be deducted for each wrong answer. Candidates will be admitted to 25 NLUs and other law colleges to their LLB and LLM courses based on CLAT 2026 scores through the counselling process.
