CLAT 2027 Notification LIVE: NLU entrance exam date soon; syllabus, pattern remain unchanged

The Consortium of National Law Universities (NLUs) will publish the Common Law Admission Test (CLAT) 2027 notification on its official website, consortiumofnlus.ac.in. CLAT is a national-level entrance exam conducted for admission to 5-year integrated undergraduate (UG) and postgraduate (PG) law programs offered by 27 participating National Law Universities (NLUs) across the country.

Consortium of NLUs is expected to announce the CLAT 2027 exam date, application schedule, eligibility criteria, syllabus, and admission process for undergraduate and postgraduate law programmes soon.

The Consortium has announced that there are no changes in the CLAT 2027 syllabus or exam pattern. According to previous years' exam date trends, the CLAT examination will tentatively be held on the first or second Sunday of December 2026. The CLAT 2027 exam will be administered in offline (pen-and-paper) mode with 120 objective-type questions.

The CLAT 2027 counselling process will begin after the declaration of results. The CLAT 2027 counselling will be held in five rounds in online mode.
