NEW DELHI: The Common Law Admission Test - Postgraduate (CLAT PG) 2025 results will be subject to the outcome of the ongoing case, the Madhya Pradesh court said while issuing a notice to the Consortium of National Law Universities (CNLU). The court was hearing the petition filed by a candidate against the Common Law Admission Test (CLAT) PG 2025 answer key.

In its interim order, the high court stated that the CLAT PG results 2025 and the final merit list prepared by the consortium on the basis of the CLAT PG 2025 final answer key, would depend on the final disposal of the petition. The court asked the respondent, the consortium in this case, to submit its response as quickly as possible to avoid delay and uncertainty amongst the candidates.

“Our client, Ayush Agarwal got a favorable order. Madhya Pradesh High Court held that the results of CLAT shall be subject to the outcome of this writ petition. A great victory for our client. Earlier, we represented the petitioners before CJI at Supreme Court wherein we were directed to approach the high court,” advocate Manasi Bhushan told Careers360.

Two candidates had alleged errors in some of the provisional answers in the CLAT PG answer key 2025 issued on December 2. Moreover, the petitioner questioned the high objection fee of Rs 1,000 per question, arguing that the amount is unreasonable. The court took note of these concerns raised by the petitioners while considering the matter for interim relief.

The next hearing of the CLAT PG case has been scheduled for January 8, 2025.

CLAT PG 2025 was conducted on December 1, 2024, for admissions to the master’s programmes in law offered by the participating colleges.
