NEW DELHI: In a significant development, the Madhya Pradesh court has issued a notice to the respondent, the Consortium of National Law Universities (CNLU), in connection with a petition filed by a candidate challenging certain answers in the Common Law Admission Test (CLAT) PG 2025. The case has been scheduled for a hearing on January 8, 2025, where further proceedings will take place.

“Our client, Ayush Agarwal got a favorable order. Madhya Pradesh High Court held that the results of CLAT shall be subject to the outcome of this writ petition. A great victory for our client. Earlier, we represented the petitioners before CJI at Supreme Court wherein we were directed to approach the high court,” advocate Manasi Bhushan told Careers360.

In its interim order, the court stated that any selections made by the CNLU, based on the final answer key, would be subject to the final disposal of the petition. The court emphasized the need for the respondent to file its reply expeditiously to avoid uncertainty in the final selection list.

The petitioner raised concerns about discrepancies in the answers to specific questions mentioned in the CLAT PG answer key 2025 for exam for postgraduate law programmes. Additionally, the petitioner contested the imposition of a higher fee of Rs 1,000 per objection, arguing that this fee is unreasonable. The court took note of these concerns while considering the matter for interim relief.

CLAT PG 2025 was conducted on December 1, 2024, for LLM admissions and the CLAT 2025 answer key was issued on December 2, 2024.
