Download NowNEW DELHI: The National Testing Agency or NTA has today announced the result of the CMAT 2021 exam on its official website- cmat.nta.nic.in. Candidates can download the CMAT 2021 scorecard by using their CMAT login ID and password. NTA has also declared the CMAT National Merit List and final CMAT answer key along with the CMAT result 2021.

Common Management Admission Test or CMAT 2021 exam was conducted on March 31 following which the provisional CMAT answer key was released on April 3 along with individual response sheets. The objection window for the same was open till April 05. This year a large number of students claimed that the CMAT exam had around 10-12 wrong questions and requested NTA to re-consider the CMAT exam and grant them grace marks.

AICTE conducted CMAT till 2018. This is the third time the National Testing Agency acted as the conducting body of the CMAT exam.

Candidates have been given a merit ranking based on the marks secured against total marks. In case the total marks secured in CMAT 2021 are the same for more than one candidate, the ranking has been done on a sectional score considered in the order of - quantitative techniques and data interpretation (QTDI), logical reasoning (LR), language comprehension (LC), general awareness(GA)

The CMAT merit list indicates the rank number, roll number, NTA score and the marks obtained of all the candidates. CMAT 2021 score is valid for the admissions of the academic year 2021-22.

The CMAT percentile of a candidate has been calculated by using the following formula:
Percentile P = 100 x Number of candidates who appeared in the examination with raw marks equal to or less than the candidate/the total number of candidates who appeared.
How to download CMAT Scorecard 2021?
Candidates can download the scorecard of CMAT from the official website of CMAT-NTA. Given below are the steps to follow:

Log on to CMAT official website or click here

Click on the “View CMAT 2021 scorecard” tab.

Enter the CMAT 2021 login credentials (application number, date of birth, and security pin).

Click on the “Submit” button.

What after the CMAT 2021 Result?
As the CMAT result 2021 has been declared, candidates now have to apply for admission to MBA programmes at the institute they wish to take admission to. It must be noted that there is no centralised counselling for CMAT, hence the candidates have to apply to the institutes individually. Most of these MBA colleges accepting CMAT score conduct Group Discussion (GD) and Personal Interview (PI) to shortlist candidates for admission.
