The University of Delhi has launched a Common Seat Allocation System (CSAS) portal for candidates to apply for Undergraduate courses at Delhi University. The official link to apply for the DU admissions for the academic year 2025-26 through the CSAS portal is admission.uod.ac.in.

A total of 63,387 candidates have enrolled for the PG programme at Delhi University and more than 60k applications have been submitted for the unique programmes. The merit list will be declared on June 24.

The Delhi University has commenced the application process for admission to its Undergraduate (UG) courses for a total of 71,624 seats. 

IGNOU has launched a PG diploma in tribal studies. The programme is designed for professionals in social work, policy planning, research, community health, and development practice. Graduates can also apply.

The syllabus for the PG diploma in tribal studies includes the following topics:

• Tribes of India and their transformation
• Tribal movements and freedom fighters
• Tribal society, culture, demography, and adaptive strategies
• Ecology, ethnoveterinary and traditional medicine
• Tribal economy, polity, governance, and entrepreneurship
• Policy frameworks and development programmes for tribals

DU has issued the first cut-off list for admissions to BA, BCom, LLM, MSc, and other PG programmes. Candidates allotted seats in the round 1 PG admission are required to accept their seats by June 20.  In phase 1 of DU PG admission 2025, a total of 11,314 students were allotted seats.

DU has begun two new courses, including an MA in tourism management, Hindi Journalism at the South campus. CUET PG qualified candidates are eligible to apply for the new courses. The duration of the tourism management course is one and a half years. DU is also aiming to start MA in English journalism. 

IGNOU has launched a new certificate course for healthcare waste management in partnership with the World Health Organisation (WHO), South-East Asia Region. Candidates who have qualified Class 12 or equivalent exam, and professionals and paraprofessionals who work in healthcare facilities, sanitation services, and waste management sectors can apply. The certificate programme has a flexible duration ranging from 6 months to 2 years.

DU will use Class 10 marks for UG admissions in breaking ties, if two candidates score the same marks. The DU admission process 2025 will be held in two phases, including phases 1 and 2. The phase 2 admission process will begin right after CUET results 2025 are announced. The university offered a total of 79 UG programmes in 69 DU colleges and departments.

To apply for DU UG admissions, candidates have to apply online on the official Common Seat Allocation System (CSAS) portal for UG admission through the Common University Entrance Test (CUET) scores 2025. Candidates can apply on CSAS portal UG 2025 admissions on the official website, admission.uod.ac.in.

Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) has started accepting applications for Certificate Programme in Teaching of Primary School Mathematics (CTPM). Candidates should have qualified for Class 10 to be eligible for the programme. The CTPM programme duration is six months to 2 years. For registration, candidates have to pay Rs 2,100.

DU has released the PG round 1 seat allotment schedule on the official website,  pgadmission.uod.ac.in. Candidates have to accept their seats by tomorrow and pay the admission fee by June 22. 

Students who have qualified for Class 10 and are willing to gain technical skills, mechanic, electrician, beautician, can apply for ITI admissions 2025. Various states, such as Kerala, Uttar Pradesh, and  Chhattisgarh, have started accepting online applications. Recently, the Cabinet had approved a national scheme for ITI upgradation, under which 1,000 government ITIs will be upgraded.
