College Entrance Exams 2025 Live: JEE Advanced registration from April 23; JEE Mains, CUET, NEET updates

The Union education minister Dharmendra Pradhan clarified that the Common University Entrance Test ( CUET 2025 ) will be conducted only once a year. The announcement was based on the recommendations of the High-Level Committee Report formed for suggesting reforms in the exam conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA).

An expert panel on NTA exam reforms has suggested multi-stage exam, computer-assisted pen-and-paper mode where question papers will be delivered to the centre digitally, and test in multiple sessions and days.

22 candidates have filed the plea against the JAB for changing the number of attempts in the upcoming JEE Advanced exam. A plea has been filed in the Supreme Court for JEE Advanced 3rd attempt and the next hearing has been scheduled for January 6, 2025.

JEE Main session 1 exams will be conducted from January 22 to 31, while session 2 will be held from April 1 to 8.

The NTA is expected to announce the CUET 2025 exam date soon at nta.ac.in. Based on the CUET exam date 2024, the CUET date is expected to be from May 15 to 24, 2025

The Joint Admission Board (JAB) restored the previous JEE Advanced 2025 eligibility criteria and reduced the number of attempts to two. The board earlier increased the number of attempts to three. However, the JEE Advanced 3rd attempt was dropped after considering the competing requirements.

JEE Advanced 2025 exam will be conducted in two sessions. Paper 1 will be held from 9 am to 12 noon and paper 2 will be conducted from 2:30 pm to 5:30 pm.

The JEE Advanced 2025 admit cards will be made available to download on from Sunday, May 11, 2025. Candidates will have to use their login credentials such as registration number and date of birth to download the JEE Advanced admit card 2025.

The JEE Advanced 2025 exam will be held on May 18, 2025. The exam will be conducted in two sessions. Paper 1 will be held from 9 am to 12 noon and paper 2 will be conducted from 2:30 pm to 5:30 pm.

JEE Advanced 2025 registration link will remain active till May 2 on the official website, jeeadv.ac.in.
