This comes after release of COMEDK UGET results for the 2026-27 academic session. The counselling process is being conducted on behalf of the Karnataka Unaided Private Engineering Colleges Association (KUPECA). The entrance examination for engineering admissions was held on May 9, and the results were announced on May 29.
Official notice reads, "The COMEDK counseling is conducted based on the directions issued by the Hon’ble Admission Overseeing Committee vide its communication dtd. 27.08.2021 regarding process to be followed by COMEDK for conducting the counseling. Detailed counseling process document is hosted on COMEDK website separately which has to be referred for all details."

How to check COMEDK UGET 2026 result?
Candidates can download their COMEDK UGET 2026 scorecard by following these steps:
- One should go to the official website comedk.org.
- Click on the “COMEDK UGET 2026 Result” or “Rank Card” link
- Log in using the application number/User ID and password
- Post submitting the details, scorecard will appear on the screen
- Download and save the rank card
COMEDK UGET 2026 Counselling Process
Counselling process is conducted online through a centralised single-window system. Eligible candidates must:
- Register on the official COMEDK counselling portal
- Upload the required documents for verification
- Complete document verification
- Fill and lock preferred colleges and courses
- Participate in seat allotment rounds based on rank and preferences
- Pay the prescribed admission fee after seat allotment
- Report to the allotted institute within the specified deadline
Th e seat allotment process will be based on candidates' ranks, preferences, eligibility criteria and seat availability.
Documents required for COMEDK counselling 2026 includes rank card, application form, Class 10 marksheet and certificate, Class 12 marksheet and passing certificate, valid photo ID proof, category certificate (if applicable), Karnataka domicile certificate (where applicable) and passport-size photographs.
COMEDK has advised candidates to upload scanned copies of all required documents and arrange the necessary funds before participating in the seat allotment process.
Fee structure
The notification also provides details regarding the fee structure for the academic year 2026-27. The tuition fee has been divided into two slabs. Under Slab 1, students will have to pay ₹3,02,000 annually, while Slab 2 carries a tuition fee of Rs 2,15,000. Apart from tuition fees, COMEDK will collect other fees during counselling, capped at ₹20,000. The notification further notes that individual colleges may collect skill laboratory fees separately, subject to prescribed limits, in addition to university charges.
