COMEDK UGET 2026: Over 16,000 BTech seats vacant after round 4; CSE records widest gap

The Consortium of Medical, Engineering and Dental Colleges of Karnataka (COMEDK) has announced the vacant seats after round 4 of the Under Graduate Entrance Test (UGET) 2026 counselling decision-making process. A total of 16,855 engineering seats remain vacant after round 4, according to the data. Computer Science and Engineering (CSE) has the most vacant seats among the listed programmes, with 4,411 seats remaining.

COMEDK Counselling 2026: Top course vacant seats

Candidates can check the top course and college-wise vacancies below.

Computer Science and Engineering has 4,411 vacant seats overall. Among the colleges listed, AMC Engineering College has 76 vacant seats, Atria Institute of Technology has 82 seats, and Bapuji Institute of Engineering and Technology has 121 vacant seats.

Electronics and Communication Engineering has 2,566 vacant seats. Acharya Institute of Technology has 62 vacant seats, while Ballari Institute of Technology and Management has 72 seats.

Mechanical Engineering has 1,245 vacant seats. KLE Technological University has 24 vacant seats, while Ballari Institute of Technology and Management has 36 seats.

Civil Engineering has 969 vacant seats. BLDEAs V.P. Dr. P.G. Halakatti College of Engineering and Technology has 36 vacant seats, while H.K.E. Society's P.D.A. College of Engineering has 27 seats.

Artificial Intelligence and Data Science has 476 vacant seats. Akash Institute of Engineering and Technology has 52 vacant seats, while Angadi Institute of Technology and Management has 36 seats.
