COVID-19 lockdown: Take NEAT route and be job ready, says MHRD

NEW DELHI: The Ministry of Human Resources and Development (MHRD) advises students to use the lockdown period effectively to become job ready.

MHRD’s official twitter handle asks students to use the Career Path Navigator developed by National Educational Alliance for Technology, or NEAT.

The course is designed to aid students in developing job-oriented skills and becoming industry ready.

The Career Path Navigator provides high-end aptitude content based on industry demands.

The objective of the course is to enhance students’ decision-making abilities, their personal and cognitive skills, enabling them to face corporate challenges with ease.

The course also offers a set of diagnostic assessments which helps the students learn solving questions on the real-life scenario and assess their skill levels.

The industry upskilling content allows students to learn core engineering topics from basic to complex level and also attain on-hands experience in their respective fields.

The course package also allows students to “choose a mentor of their choice on the platform and ensure a clear understanding of their subject matter.”

The duration of the course is from three months to a year.

The course also seeks to develop students’ abilities to help them achieve the highest paying jobs in core corporate sectors.

NEAT is an initiative of MHRD and provides a learning platform to students for online products being offered by industry.
