Maharashtra Board has also announced that the second-semester examination of Class 9 and 11 will not be conducted now. However, the Maharashtra Board is yet to decide the criteria on which the students of class 10 will be promoted to the next classes.
In a recent Video message, Varsha Gaikwad, state Education Minister, Maharashtra said "The lockdown was expected to end on April 14 but it has now been extended. Hence we have taken two decisions.
