CUET 2022 phase 1 day 2 exam begins today; Covid-19 guidelines, test pattern

NEW DELHI: The National Testing Agency (NTA) will conduct the CUET 2022 phase 1 exam for day 2 today, July 16 at 9 am. The first slot exam of CUET UG 2022 phase 1 day 2 exam will be conducted from 9 am to 12:15 am and the second slot examination will be held from 3 pm to 6:45 pm.

The CUET 2022 day 1 exam was held on July 15. Jagadesh Kumar, UGC chairman on Friday evening clarified that no second chance will be given to the students who missed their exams on July 15 because of change in the exam centre, as per the report by Hindustan Times .

CUET 2022 exam - Covid-19 guidelines

The test takers have to keep in mind the Covid-19 protocols laid down by the authorities while appearing for CUET UG 2022.

• The students should not be allowed to enter the test centre wearing a face mask. The test centre will provide the face mask to the students after reaching the CUET test centre.

• Candidates have to carry an additional photograph which will be pasted on the attendance sheet in the examination hall.

• The test takers have to bring the CUET UG admit card along with a self declaration (undertaking) along with a simple transparent ballpoint pen and an authorized photo IDs including school identity card, PAN card, driving license, voter ID, passport, aadhaar card (with photograph), e-aadhaar with photograph, ration card with photograph, Class 12 admit card with photograph, bank passbook with photograph.

• Those who are claiming for the PwBD category have to bring the PwBD certificate issued by the authorised medical officer.

CUET 2022 test pattern

As per the CUET UG exam pattern 2022, there are three sections in the design of the test, section IA - 13 languages (As a medium and "Language"), section IB - 20 optional languages, section II - 27 domain specific subjects and section III - general test. The entrance test of CUET will be conducted in computer-based mode.

The National Testing Agency (NTA) will conduct the CUET 2022 phase 2 exam from August 4 to 20. NTA CUET 2022 exam is being conducted in two shifts - morning (9 am to 12:15 pm) and afternoon (3 pm to 6:45 pm).

The CUET admit card 2022 was issued on July 13. The CUET city intimation slip 2022 was issued to the candidates on July 11.
