CUET 2022 phase 2 begins tomorrow; know test pattern, exam day guidelines

NEW DELHI: National Testing Agency (NTA), will begin the CUET 2022 exam for phase 2 tomorrow, August 4. Candidates who have been allotted CUET phase 2 exam slots need to reach the CUET exam centre on the given time and take the entrance test.

NTA has issued the CUET phase 2 admit card on August 4 at the official website - cuet.samarth.ac.in. Applicants who have successfully registered for the CUET entrance test can download the CUET 2022 admit card by using the application number, password and security pin at the CUET online portal.

CUET exam pattern 2022

The duration of the CUET UG 2022 exam is 3 hours and 15 minutes (195 minutes) for slot 1 and 3 hours and 45 minutes (225 minutes) for slot 2. There will be 175 questions in CUET 2022 in multiple choice format.

CUET 2022 exam day guidelines

Students are advised to follow the below-mentioned guidelines which are as follows:

• CUET admit cards 2022 have been issued to candidates depending on the combination of exams they have chosen.

• Candidates should arrive at the exam hall within the specified time since the CUET exam will begin at the scheduled time.

• Applicants can leave the CUET 2022 exam centre once the specified test duration has passed.

• Test takers are required to show their CUET 2022 hall ticket to invigilators. Candidates' identities and details are expected to be verified by the test centre staff.

• In the absence of an authorised photo ID or the CUET admit card, candidates will not be permitted to take the entrance test.

• Students will be informed about their seats based on their roll number by the test centre staff.

For some of those students who were earlier scheduled to appear on August 4, 5 and 6, the CUET 2022 exam dates have been shifted to August 12, 13 and 14 due to clashes with various entrance exams like MHT CET, BITSAT, NATA, etc.

NTA will conduct the CUET 2022 entrance exam in two shifts, timings of CUET morning shift is (9:00 am to 12:15 pm) and timings of the CUET afternoon shift is (3:00 pm to 6:45 pm).
