CUET UG 2022: Phase 6 exam begins today; know test syllabus, instructions

NEW DELHI: The Common University Entrance Test (CUET) 2022 for phase 6 will begin today, August 24. The CUET 2022 exam will be held in two slots. The slot 1 CUET exam will be held from 9 am to 12:15 pm and slot 2 will be conducted from 3 pm to 6:45 pm.

The computer-based exam will be held across 489 exam centres in India and 10 cities located abroad. Candidates should reach their allotted exam centre at least 90 minutes before the exam timing. It is mandatory to bring the CUET 2022 admit card, a valid ID card, and recent passport size photo to the test centre.

Around 2.86 lakh candidates are expected to appear in the sixth phase of CUET exam 2022. CUET 2022 for phase 5 was over on August 23.

CUET 2022 - Important instructions

• Reach the exam centre allotted at least 90 minutes before the reporting time.

• Face masks will be provided at the exam centre.

• Bring a transparent water bottle and sanitizer bottle to the test centre.

• A rough sheet will be provided to the candidates at the exam hall.

• Do not bring any electronic devices to the exam centre.

• Candidates will not be allowed to leave the CUET exam hall before time.

CUET 2022 Syllabus

There will be three sections in the exam. Check the complete CUET section-wise syllabus below-

• Section IA & IB - Language to be tested through reading comprehension (based on different types of passages– factual, literary and narrative, [literary aptitude and vocabulary].

• Section II - Based on CBSE Class 12th exam.

• Section III - General knowledge, current affairs, general mental ability, numerical ability, quantitative reasoning (Simple application of basic mathematical concepts arithmetic, algebra geometry, mensuration, stat taught till Grade 8), logical and analytical reasoning.

NTA has issued the CUET 2022 admit card for phase 6 on August 21 for the exams to be held on August 24, 25 and 26. The CUET UG admit card 2022 for the exam to be held on August 30 will be released soon.
