Only 11,64,098 candidates appeared for the CUET UG 2026 entrance exam.
NTA has issued the answer keys, and seven questions have been dropped from the CUET UG final answer key 2026 . As per the NTA notice, a total of 15,68,866 candidates have registered for CUET UG 2026.
NTA conducted CUET UG 2026 exams from May 11 to 31 and June 6 and 7 across India and 14 international cities across 13 countries, including Sharjah and Abu Dhabi (UAE), Riyadh (Kingdom of Saudi Arabia), Kuwait, Kathmandu (Nepal), Doha (Qatar), Muscat (Oman), and Manama (Bahrain), Singapore, Kuala Lumpur (Malaysia) and Washington DC.

CUET UG 2026 top scorer list is shown in the table below.
- One candidate has achieved 100 percentile score in four out of the five opted subjects
- A total of 22 candidates have scored 100 percentile in 3 subjects (out of their opted subjects)
- A total of 180 candidates have scored 100 percentile in 2 subjects (out of their opted subjects)
- A total of 3,214 candidates have scored 100 percentile in 1 subject (out of their opted subjects)
CUET UG Result 2026: How to download?
The steps to download the CUET UG result 2026 are as follows.
- Visit the official website cuet.nta.nic.in.
- Click on the CUET UG result link on the homepage
- A new page will open.
- Enter login details such as application number and password or date of birth.
- Press the submit button.
- CUET UG 2026 scorecard will appear on the screen.
- Check your score and download the result PDF.
CUET UG Scores 2026
As per NTA, approximately 6,74,352 registrations, about 43% of the total, originated from three states: Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, and Delhi. The most opted subjects in descending order of the number of registrations were as follows:
- English: 12.64 lakh registrations
- Chemistry 9.51 lakh registrations
- Physics 9.14 lakh registrations
- General Aptitude Test: 9.12 lakh registrations
- Mathematics/Applied Mathematics: 5.81 lakh registrations
- Biology/Biotechnology: 5.56 lakh registrations
CUET scores are used for admission into UG programmes in all Central, state, deemed and private universities across the country. Over 200 universities will accept CUET UG 2026 scores, including Delhi University, Banaras Hindu University (BHU), Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU), and others.
