The Central Seat Allocation Board (CSAB) has announced the round 1 seat allotment results for the special round counselling 2026 and the direct admission of students abroad (DASA) UG 2026 admissions.

Candidates who participated in the DASA UG and CSAB Special 2026 counselling process can check their allotment status by logging on to the official website, csab.nic.in.

Candidates can log in with their Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) main 2026 application number and password to access the DASA UG 2026 seat allotment result. Those allotted a seat in round 1 must complete the admission process, which includes online reporting, document verification, and fee payment within the prescribed deadline.

How to download CSAB, DASA UG 2026 round 1 seat allotment?

Candidates can follow these steps to download their allotment result

  • Visit the official IISER admissions portal, csab.nic.in

  • Click on the CSAB special round 2026 or DASA UG 2026 counselling link

  • Enter the required login details

  • Submit to view the allotment result

  • Download the allotment letter and keep a copy for future reference

The downloaded allotment letter will be required during the online reporting and admission process.

What after seat allotment?

Candidates can choose any one of the following options based on their admission preference.

  • Freeze: Accept the allotted seat and opt out of further allotment rounds

  • Slide: Accept the seat but ask for an upgrade to a higher preference course within the same institute.

  • Float: Accept the seat but remain eligible for an upgrade to a higher-preference institute or programme in subsequent rounds

  • Surrender: Reject the allotted seat to either participate in round 2 or exit the counselling process

  • Withdraw/Exit: Withdraw completely from the counselling process

Students must visit the official CSAB website for further counselling updates.
