The CLAT 2021 exam was scheduled to be held on June 13, 2021. It is highly likely that the exam may be postponed yet again, considering the ongoing second wave of the COVID-19 situation, which has caused anxiety among the student and parent community.
Many students have shared their concerns on social media, including Twitter, exhorting the consortium to postpone the exam.
One student pleaded with the consortium to postpone the exam to August similar to that of the NEET 2021 exam.
@VC_NALSAR Sir can you please inform us about the consortium decision,is clat getting postponed or not?

Another student, Gaurav Gahlot, requested the education minister, Ramesh Pokhriyal ‘Nishank’ and others, to postpone the exam, saying ‘Students lives matter’.
I request Union Education Minister, Honorable Dr. Ramesh Pokhral Nishank @DrRPNishank, Prime Minister Modi @PMOIndia, Vice Chancellor @VC_NALSAR to conduct CLAT 2021 in August 2021, in offline mode only. #postpone_clat_2021#StudentsLivesMatter

With rising COVID cases, another concern in the mind of candidates is the mode of the exam. Students have even raised the concern on whether the exam will be conducted in offline mode or online mode.
The normal thinking is that an offline exam is more susceptible to the coronavirus. Compared to it, online exams are thought to be safer. However, considering the requests on social media, not everyone is ready to buy the prospect of giving the exam in an online mode. It may be because these students have prepared for an offline exam, and a sudden change in offline to online mode may hamper their prospects.
Shanvi Thakre, another student tweeted that with necessary precautions in place, CLAT 2021 can be conducted in offline mode.
Respected sir, a kind request to you. As earlier it was decided that Clat may go offline if the situation around the country remain normal. But last year even with so many covid cases NEET 2020 was offline. Even why not CLAT 2021. We can take all measures needed.
