The Directorate of Government Examinations, Tamil Nadu (TNDGE) will conduct the Tamil Nadu Class 10 (SSLC) Mathematics exam tomorrow March 25, beginning at 10:00 AM and concluding at 1:15 PM across the state. The question paper is expected to be based on the prescribed syllabus, covering key areas such as algebra, geometry, and arithmetic.

Students must carry their TN Class 10 hall ticket to the examination centre, as entry will not be permitted without it. A 10-minute reading time will be provided from 10:00 AM to 10:10 AM to go through the question paper, followed by a 5-minute window until 10:15 AM to verify personal details. Writing will officially begin at 10:15 AM.
Candidates are required to sit in their designated seats and strictly follow the invigilators’ instructions. Carrying mobile phones, electronic devices, or any unauthorised materials into the examination hall is strictly prohibited.
Candidates appearing for the Tamil Nadu Class 10 (SSLC) Mathematics Public Exam should carefully follow the below official guidelines to avoid any issues on exam day:
Carry your original hall ticket for every exam; entry is not allowed without it, and avoid writing anything on it.
Reach the exam centre 30–60 minutes early (around 9:15 AM for a 10:00 AM exam) to settle in calmly.
Use the 15-minute reading time (10:00–10:15 AM) to review the question paper and check your details.
Bring essential stationery like blue/black pens, pencils, and geometry tools; gadgets such as calculators, mobile phones, and smartwatches are banned.
Do rough work in the right-hand margin only; for 2 and 5-mark answers, clearly write the given data, formula, and final answer with units.
Score at least 35 out of 100 to pass; there is no negative marking for wrong answers.
Updates regarding the TN Class 10 Maths answer key and paper analysis will be shared after the exam concludes. The Directorate of Government Examinations, Tamil Nadu does not release official answer keys for board examinations.
However, several coaching institutes and subject experts share unofficial answer keys along with detailed paper analyses shortly after the exam. These solutions help students review the questions and estimate their probable scores based on their responses.
