Delhi EWS nursery admission 2022-23: Candidates can submit application forms by March 3 on the official website - edudel.nic.in.

NEW DELHI: The Delhi education department has invited fresh online applications from Economically Weaker Sections (EWS), and Children with Special Needs (CWSN) category students for vacant seats in nursery, pre-primary classes. Candidates can apply at the official website - edudel.nic.in. The last date to submit the application is March 3 and the draw of lots will be done on March 7. The list of schools with available vacancies or seats is available on the website from February 25 from 5 PM onwards.
“The candidates, who have applied earlier but remain unsuccessful in the draw of lots so far against the EWS, DG and CWSN category seats, need not to apply again for these vacant seats and their earlier applications will be considered,” said an official notification.

3% seats within the 25% reserved seats under EWS, DG at the entry level classes (Pre-School, Nursery, Pre-Primary, KG and Class-I) of the Private Unaided recognized Schools by Directorate of Education (DoE) will be reserved for admission under Children with Disabilities Category for the session 2021-22, it said.
The education department asked to submit only single application as filing multiple applications will lead to cancellation of candidature of applicant even if selected in draw of lots.
Any person residing in Delhi, having the residence proof of Delhi and requisite Income Certificate (less than one lakh rupees annually) is eligible for applying in private schools for admission for their ward under EWS category.

Schedule Caste, Schedule Tribe, Other Backward Class (Non-creamy Layer), Orphans, Transgender and all children living with or affected by HIV, shall be considered as Disadvantaged Group Category.
The applicant under Children with Disabilities Category must have disability certificate issued from a government hospital as mentioned in assessment guidelines issued under RPWD Act, 2016.
