Download NowThe overall pass percentage of Tamil Nadu Higher Secondary Certificate (TN HSC) 2026 is 95.20%. This year, girls outshone boys with a pass rate of 97%, compared to 93.19% for boys. Among the top-performing districts, Erode secured the highest position with a pass percentage of 98.87%, followed closely by Sivagangai at 98.05%. Kanniyakumari also delivered an excellent performance, recording a pass percentage of 97.63%, making it one of the leading districts in the state.
As per the institute-wise performance statistics, government schools recorded a pass percentage of 92.16%, while government-aided schools performed better with 96.14%. Private schools emerged as the top-performing category, achieving an impressive pass percentage of 98.72%.
To access the TN HSC marksheet 2026, candidates have to enter the details, including registration number and date of birth. In case the official website is not working, the alternative websites to check the TN Class 12 2026 scores are: dge.tn.gov.in, and dge1.tn.nic.in.
The Tamil Nadu 12th Result 2026 marksheet include details, including student’s name, roll number, name of the examination, and class along with the stream (Science, Commerce, or Arts). The marksheet will also mention subject-wise marks, total marks obtained, and the grade secured by the student. In addition, it will clearly indicate the qualifying status (Pass/Fail) and the overall result status as per the board’s evaluation.

To access the TN HSC marksheet 2026, students need to follow the steps given below:
- Visit the official website of TN at tnresults.nic.in or dge.tn.gov.in
- On the homepage, click on the "TN HSC (+2) Result 2026" link
- Enter the details, including registration number and date of birth (in DD/MM/YYYY format) and then submit
- The TN Class 12 marksheet 2026 will appear on the screen
- Download the provisional TN Class 12 2026 marksheet and take a printout for further reference

TN Class 12 result 2026: Passing criteria
To pass the TN HSC exam 2026, students need to score at least 35 marks out of 100 in each subject, including both theory and practical (where applicable). In subjects with practical exams, students must secure the required minimum separately in theory and practical components.
