Earlier, a roundtable on health workforce training and skill pathways was also held in New Delhi. The members present at the conference discussed innovative collaborations in education, skill development, and healthcare partnership between India and Australia.
Butler and secretary of ministry of skill development and entrepreneurship Atul Kumar Tiwari held discussions which would assist in charting out a path for both countries to develop and utilise talent, build competencies, streamline recruitment across borders, as well as define the future of India's contribution to healthcare in Australia, an official statement read.
