The University of Delhi is also planning to increase the number of test centres. Last year, many DU aspirants raised their concerns over the lack of exam centres. The examinations were held in 24 centres around the country.

"From the academic year 2021-22 onwards, admissions to Bachelor in Physiotherapy, Bachelor in Occupational Therapy, Bachelor of Prosthetics & Orthotics, and Masters of Physiotherapy will be done through Delhi University Entrance Test (DUET). This is an effort in line with the National Education Policy motive of one university one examination," Rajiv Gupta, chairperson, admissions told PTI.

Gupta said in the report that the non-NET candidates who wish to take admissions in MPhil and PhD programmes have to appear for the DUET exam.
