Delhi University has released the DU PG 2021 application form today, July 26 at admission.uod.ac.in. Applicants can fill the DU PG application form 2021 till August 21. University of Delhi has also released the official information brochure for DU PG admission 2021 on its official website. The admission to postgraduate programmes will be done through Delhi University Entrance Test (DUET) 2021. Apart from PG courses, there are 12 undergraduate programmes for which admission are also offered through DUET to be conducted by National Test Agency (NTA).

When candidates are filling the DU PG 2021 application form, they have to mention their personal and academic details along with uploading the scanned copy of necessary documents. The required details and documents are as follows -

• A valid Email ID, password and mobile number
• Name of the candidate
• Date of birth
• Nationality
• Gender and category
• Mother/ Father/ Guardian's name
• Signature
• Passport size photograph
• Caste/ Reservation Certificate
• Identity proof

Delhi University will open their DU PG 2021 admission portal at 5 PM. The university will release the DU PG application form 2021 and other important details about DUET on the admission portal. This year, the DU PG 2021 application form will be released on July 26. Last year, University of Delhi released the DU PG application form on June 20, 2020. In comparison to previous year, the release date of DU PG application form has been more than a month late.

University of Delhi will provide a common admission portal that will be active on the official portal at all times. Having a common admission portal will make the application process much easier for candidates. They can apply for admission from the safety of their home as the admission process is completely online, this year.

The DU 2021 application form for PG programmes will be released anytime soon. Therefore, candidates should keep the following documents ready for registration and filling the DU PG application form 2021. 

Documents required to fill the application form

• Class 10th and 12th mark sheets along with the admit card number issued by the board
• Scanned signature of the candidate
• Self-attested degree and mark sheet of Class 10th and 12th
• Self-attested Caste or Reservation certificate, if applicable
• Scanned copy of candidate’s passport-sized photograph
• Scanned/photocopied identity proofs such as Aadhaar Card/ Driving License/ PAN Card/ Voter’s Identity Card/ Passport/ College Identity Card (self-attested)

To pay the DU PG application fee, candidates have to use debit card, credit card, UPI or net banking. Applicants belonging to general category are required to pay an application fee of Rs. 750, whereas candidates of special category need to pay Rs. 300 as application fee. It must be noted that DU PG 2021 application fee will be non refundable.

As per the exam pattern, the Delhi University Entrance Test (DUET) 2021 will be conducted for DU 2021 admissions in a computer based mode. The DUET is a national level entrance examination which includes multiple choice questions (MCQs). Candidates will be given 2 hours to solve a total number of 100 questions. For each correct answer, they will be rewarded with 4 marks, whereas 1 mark will be deducted for each wrong answer.

The University Grants Commission (UGC) has declared that the Central Universities Common Entrance Test (CUCET) will not be held this year. The common entrance test for admission to central universities may be implemented from 2022-23. 

The UGC India tweeted, “In view of the prevailing COVID-19 pandemic, admission process in central universities during academic session 2021-22, may continue as per past practice. Central Universities Common Entrance Test (CUCET) may be implemented from academic session 2022-23."

According to the official announcement of DU officials, the registration portal of Delhi University for PG courses will open any moment today, July 26 at du.ac.in. Aspiring candidates must note that the DU PG application process is completely online and candidates should keep their active mobile number and email ID ready beforehand. Candidates are also advised to fill the DU application form 2021 for PG courses before the deadline and not wait until the last day to avoid any hassle. Though the DU application form for PG programmes is common, the candidates have to pay a separate fee if choosing more than one course.

Follow the given steps to fill the DU PG 2021 application form - 

• Go to the DU PG registration portal.
• Click on the “Register” tab.
• Register at the admission portal using email ID and phone number.
• Create a new password (of maximum 6 characters).
• A confirmation message will be sent on the registered email.
• Click on the link and confirm the email address.
• Use these login credentials to access the user account and fill up the applications.
• Login using the sent login credentials.
• Upload necessary documents.
• Now, enter their address, educational in the application form.
• Pay the application fee.

Delhi University will conduct the DU 2021 admission to UG merit-based programmes based on DU cut-off calculated as per past years practice. In June, the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) created an evaluation criteria for Class 12 results. According to the CBSE Class 12 evaluation criteria, the 40% marks will be based on pre boards, mid-term exams and unit tests. The 30% marks will be calculated on the basis of Class 11th final exam marks and the remaining 30% from best of three of Class 10 marks.

University of Delhi is about to release the DU PG application form 2021 anytime now. Before candidates start the application process, they should be aware of the following important points regarding the DU 2021 admission process of this year. 

• The admission to postgraduate programmes will be done through Delhi University Entrance Test (DUET) to be conducted by the National Testing Agency.
• Non-NET candidates seeking admissions to PhD and MPhil programmes are required to appear for DUET 2021.
• The eligibility criteria, fee structure and registration fee will remain the same as last year.
• The DU 2021 admission process will be completely online. Candidates will not have to visit the campus for any admission purpose.
• This year, Delhi University is planning to increase the number of test centres for DUET.

It was on July 17 that the Delhi University officials raised the curtain and announced the DU admission dates and procedure via a zoom meet. The admission incharge made several announcements related to number of UG, PG seats on offer, mode of application and admission process, admission to sports and ECA quota seats, etc.

The Delhi University Entrance Exam (DUET) 2021 will be conducted in 20 cities across the nation. This year, the University of Delhi is also planning to increase the number of exam centres for DUET. Candidates can select the DUET 2021 exam centre of their preference while filling up the application form.
