University of Delhi has released the application form for UG admissions on DU admission portal 2021 on August 2. Since the announcement of CBSE 12th result on July 30, the number of candidates awaiting the release of DU application form 2021 has gone up. This year, the overall pass percentage for CBSE board is 99.37 percent. On top of it, around 70,004 Class 12th students have scored more than 95 percent marks. This will raise the

bar even more. Aspiring candidates have to fill the DU application form 2021 by August 31. All the details and documents needed for DU admission 2021 must be correct and legit.

Students can keep themselves abreast of all the details by staying attuned to du.ac.in. or this blog post. The DU admission 2021 for most of the UG programmes will be done based on the candidate’s merit in the Class 12th examination. However, the enrollment to some UG programmes is done through Delhi University Entrance Test (DUET). At the end of DU UG admission process, shortlisted candidates are offered admission to around 70,000 seats (ECA+Sports seats).

DU UG application form 2021 released
University of Delhi has released the DU UG 2021 application form today, August 2 at du.ac.in. The submission deadline of DU UG application form 2021 is August 31. The university has also released the official notification brochure for all the information regarding the DU UG 2021 admission on the official website.

Delhi University has delayed the DU 2021 application form once again. Initially, the DU UG application was scheduled to be released today, at 3 pm. Then, around 5 pm DU officials announced that the DU UG 2021 application form will be released at 6 pm. However, the DU UG admission portal 2021 has not been opened yet.

No increment in DU registration fee
The DU registration fee for undergraduate programmes is the same as last year. In the press conference held on July 17, acting Vice Chancellor PC Joshi stated that there will be no hike in the registration fee for any programmes. The registration fee will also remain non refundable. The DU admission portal will provide a secure gateway for the payment of registration fee.

Delhi University Entrance Test for UG courses
For some undergraduate courses, the DU admission is done through the Delhi University Entrance Test (DUET) conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA). From this year, the number of UG courses for which the entrance test is conducted has increased from 9 to 13. DU admission 2021; Know how Delhi University calculates cutoff
Delhi University admission for UG merit-based courses will be conducted on the basis of DU cut-off calculated in accordance with past years practice. CBSE has created an evaluation criteria for Class 12th results. As per the CBSE Class 12th evaluation criteria, the pre boards, unit test and mid-term exams will contribute to the 40% marks. The 30% marks will be based on Class 11th final exam marks and the remaining 30% from best of three of Class 10th marks.

- A valid Mobile Number
- SC/ST/OBC/EWS/CW/KM Certificate
- OBC (Non-Creamy Layer) Certificate EWS Certificate from competent authority certifying the applicant can claim reservation under this category
- Class X and Class XII details (Marksheet or Certificate)
- Correct spelling of Father’s and Mother’s names
- Aadhar Number
- Scanned images of passport-sized candidate’s photograph

How to fill the DU UG application form 2021?
Candidates have to follow the given instruction to fill the DU UG 2021 application form -
- Visit the DU UG admission portal - du.ac.in.
- Press the “Register” button.
- Register at the admission portal by entering Class 12th marks, roll number, name, school code, password, email ID and phone number.
- A confirmation message will be sent on the registered email.
- Use these login credentials to access the user account and fill up the applications.
- Login using the sent login credentials.
- Now, enter the personal and academic details.
- Upload the scanned copy of the necessary documents.
- Pay the DU UG application fee.

DU UG 2021 application form: How to pay fee?
The DU UG 2021 application fee can be paid through debit card, credit card or net banking. Candidates of general and OBC category have to pay an application fee of Rs. 250, while candidates of SC/ST/PwD category are required to pay Rs. 150 as application fee.
For registration of each entrance-based course, candidates of general and OBC category have to pay an additional registration fee of Rs. 750. The additional registration fee of each entrance-based course for candidates belonging to SC/ST/PWD/EWS category is Rs. 300. Applicants should know that DU UG application fee 2021 is non refundable.
