According to the Delhi University, the candidates who apply for CSAS mid-way will not have an option to claim the seats allocated to candidates who had applied during the initial application phases. There will also be no option to 'upgrade' seats for candidates who apply for mid-entry.
The number of seats across DU colleges is 70,000, but the varsity has allocated extra seats in unreserved (OBC-NCL and EWS) and reserved (SC, ST and PWBD) categories in the first list, taking the number to 80,164. DU recently announced the rejection of reserved category candidates in seat allocation for CSAS round-1 who did not submit their category certificates according to the university's prescribed format. These candidates will be considered for the unreserved seats in CSAS round-2
