Delhi University PG Admissions 2026: Round 1 announced for 28 one-year MA, MSc courses

The University of Delhi (DU) has announced the round 1 allocation and admission schedule for one-year postgraduate (PG) programmes for the academic session 2026-27. The first round of allocations was declared on August 4, 2026. Candidates allotted seats must accept by 11:59 pm on August 6.

DU admission 2026 will cover 28 one-year postgraduate programmes across science, humanities and language disciplines, PTI reported. The university will announce the allocation schedule for the remaining programmes shortly.

According to the schedule released by the university, after candidates accept their allotted seats, the respective departments will verify and approve the online application. The verification process will continue until 11:59 pm on August 8, 2026.

• Visit the official Delhi University admission portal

• Log in with the registered credentials and check the seat allocation details

• Click on ‘accept the allocated seat’ within the deadline

• Once the application is approved, candidates must pay the admission fee online

• Candidates can download and save the fee payment receipt, along with admission confirmation for future reference
