Download NowThe University of Delhi will publish the seat allocation for the first round of admissions through the Common University Entrance Test (CUET PG) 2025 at 5 pm today, June 17, announced DU vice-chancellor Yogesh Singh in a press conference. The DU PG round 1 seat allocation 2025 will be released on the Common Seat Allocation System (CSAS) PG 2025 portal, pgadmission.uod.ac.in

As per the DU PG admission 2025 schedule shared by the VC, students will have to accept the allotted seats by 4:59 pm on June 20. The college departments will verify the applications between June 17 and 21 and the last date to make online fee payment is June 22. The university will announce the second round allocation on June 24 at 5 pm.
In a major announcement, DU has introduced single girl child quota in DU PG CSAS 2025 as well. Under the quota, one supernumerary seat in every programme is reserved for girls who are the only children of their parents. 1,131 have applied for DU PG admissions under the quota.
The central university is also starting two new MA programmes this year – MA in Tourism Management and MA in Hindi Journalism . Initially, a diploma was being offered at DU in Hindi journalism but the university has decided to start a two year programme. Those learners who complete a year will get a diploma in the field. DU is also working on the modalities of a MA programme in English journalism, which will be started soon, said Singh.

DU has received the highest number of applications, 9,217, for the PG programme in LLB. This is followed by MA Political Science with 4,996 registrations.
Delhi University is offering a total of 13,432 seats in postgraduate programmes across its affiliated colleges. 53,609 students have registered for the admissions including 20,117 boys, 30,490 girls, and two transgender persons.
