Download NowNEW DELHI: The University of Delhi released the DU UG admission round 1 allocation list 2023 today, August 1. Candidates can check the DU UG seat allocation list round 1 by visiting the official DU admission website, ugadmission.uod.ac.in. 7,042 candidates got their first preference and about 22,000 candidates have been allocated a seat from their first five preferences,.
The allocation was done to all programmes for unreserved (UR), SC, ST, OBC (NCL), EWS and two supernumerary quotas, PwBD and Kashmiri Migrants categories. "DU CSAS allocations have been done in all programmes offered by all colleges, except in those programs where the eligibilities include performance or practical tests," it said.
Earlier, DU released the simulated ranks for UG courses on July 29. This allowed students to access their common rank and category rank for all the UG courses they had applied for. Students were given to make any necessary edits or updates to their preferences based on the simulated ranks till July 30.

Following the release of the round 1 seat allocation list, candidates are required to accept the allocated seat from August 1. The last date to accept the allotted seats is August 4. The respective colleges will verify and approve the online applications from August 1 to August 5, 2023.
The last date for candidates to make online payments of admission fees is set for August 6. On August 7, the university will publish the list of vacant seats for the next allocation rounds. Candidates can re-order higher preferences from August 7 to August 8.
DU UG Admission 2023 Seat Allocation: Steps to check
- Step 1: Visit the official website, ugadmission.uod.ac.in
- Step 2: Go to candidate dashboard and log in using the required credentials.
- Step 3: The DU seat allocation result will appear on the screen.
- Step 4: Check and take the printout of the PDF for future reference.
