Jammu and Kashmir Lecturers Association demanded the extension in winter vacation in view of heavy snowfall across the border areas.

NEW DELHI: The Jammu and Kashmir Lecturers Association has urged the school education department to extend winter vacation for teachers posted in border areas beyond February 20, 2023. The Lecturers Association has demanded the extension in winter vacation in view of heavy snowfall across the border areas or hard zones and very hard zones.
The Jammu and Kashmir Lecturers Association in a tweet quoted, "We request school education department to extend winter vacation for teachers posted in border areas beyond 20th February as due to heavy snowfall they will face hardships & also the exams are to be held in april in those schools."
