FMGE October 2026 registration begins; apply by September 25

The National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences (NBEMS) has commenced the Foreign Medical Graduate Examination (FMGE) October 2026 registration process today, September 11, 2026. Eligible candidates can submit the FMGE application form online till September 25, 2026, up to 11.55 pm. The FMGE October session examination will be conducted on October 31, 2026.

Candidates applying for the FMGE exam 2026 must be an Indian citizen or an Overseas Citizen of India (OCI) and should possess a primary medical qualification awarded by a recognised medical institution outside India.

NBEMS will issue the FMGE admit card on October 27, while the test city will be informed to applicants on October 20. Candidates applying for the October session can note the following schedule:

Steps to fill FMGE October application form 2026

Candidates can follow these steps to complete the FMGE October 2026 application process :

• Visit the FMGE official website at natboard.edu.in
• Click on the FMGE October 2026 registration link.
• Register by entering the required details and create login credentials.
• Log in using the registered credentials.
• Fill in the FMGE application form with personal, academic and other required details.
• Upload the required documents, including the photograph, signature and thumb impression, as per the prescribed specifications.
• Review all the details entered in the application form carefully.
• Pay the application fee, including GST, through UPI, credit card or debit card issued by an Indian bank.
• Submit the FMGE 2026 application form.
• Download and save the confirmation page or submitted application form for future reference.

The total FMGE application fee is Rs 4,650, including GST. The examination fee before GST is Rs 3,940.68, while GST at 18% amounts to Rs 709.32. Candidates can pay the prescribed fee through the payment gateway using UPI, credit card or debit card issued by banks in India.
