GATE 2019 Mock Tests released; Category Correction to open from October 31

Try NowOCTOBER 30, NEW DELHI: IIT Madras has published the mock test of GATE 2019 for the various engineering papers. Candidates can now access the online mock test released for the purpose of entrance examination preparation and accordingly practice. The mock test has been released for the 24 papers available through GATE. Since the Statistics paper has been introduced for the first time, the candidates will find the mock test similar to GATE 2018 Mathematics paper.
IIT Madras has also announced that the correction of gender/category/PwD status/Dyslexia and other similar learning disabilities will be open from October 31 to November 7, 2018.
Steps to access GATE 2019 Mock Test
GATE Mock Tests are currently available in online mode. The candidates can follow the given steps to access the released mock tests.

The link to the mock test is available in the official GATE 2019 website.

The candidates will have to click on their choice of paper to attempt the mock test.

No login credentials will be required and the candidates will just have to click on “Sign In”

The candidates will have to agree to the displayed instructions before commencing the mock test
Highlights of GATE Mock Test

The mock test is 3 hours long in duration and the exam pattern is similar to the real GATE examination.

The mock test will automatically stop after the 3 hours are over.

Multiple choice questions, which has to be answered by the candidates, will be present in the mock test.

The candidates will be able to navigate between questions and sections in the mock test.

Using the mock test, the candidates will be able to prepare well for the upcoming entrance examination.

A virtual scientific calculator is also present for the candidates in the mock test.
GATE 2019 is scheduled to be conducted by IIT Madras on February 2, 3, 9 and 10. Registrations had previously ended on October 1, 2018 and the admit card will be released on January 4, 2019.
