Question - What is the dress code for GATE 2021?

Answer - The authorities have not mentioned anything specific regarding the dress code for IIT GATE 2021. However, candidates have to make sure not to carry any gadgets, wear their face mask properly, not to carry any unnecessary metallic jewellery, etc.

Question - What is a GATE support letter?

Answer - As there are announcements for road blockage due to the ongoing farmers’ protest on GATE 2021 day 1 (February 6) exam, IIT Bombay has issued support letters to identify GATE candidates and allow them to commute and reach their exam centres without any trouble.

Question - What is the reporting time for IIT GATE 2021?

Answer - Candidates have to report for GATE 2021 IIT Bombay at least 60 minutes prior to the commencement of exam. Candidates will be permitted to occupy their seats 40 minutes before the start of the exam starts as mentioned in the admit card.

Question - Will there be a frisking process at IIT-B GATE 2021 exam centre?

Answer - Yes. Temperature check will be done at the entrance of GATE exam centre premises. Candidates who have a temperature higher than 99.4°F will be taken to the ‘Isolation area’ for the entrance examination.

Question - What do I need to carry while appearing for GATE 2021?

Answer - Candidates need to carry GATE hall ticket 2021 to the exam hall along with a valid photo ID in original. Along with that, candidates need to bring their own pen, pencil, transparent water bottle and pocket-sized hand sanitizer.
