NEW DELHI: The Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Kanpur will close the GATE 2023 form correction portal today, November 14. Candidates who wish to edit their GATE application form 2023 can use the correction facility. The link for GATE 2023 form modification is available at gate.iitk.ac.in.

IIT Kanpur started the GATE 2023 correction facility on November 8 to allow students edit details they entered mistakenly while filling out the application form. Aspirants should note that some details in the registration form can be done without any fee, however, some details like change in category, gender or GATE paper is paid.
Steps to edit GATE application form 2023

Visit GATE 2023 official website - gate.iitk.ac.in

Click on the GOAPS Portal link.

Enter Enrollment ID / Email Address and Password.

Click on "Submit".

Make the necessary corrections in GATE 2023 application form.

Pay the fee (if required)

Earlier, the authorities scrutinized the GATE 2023 registrations for the accuracy of the data, which include uploaded supporting documents, clarity of the photograph and signature. If everything is found to be in order, the application was accepted. However, defects in the applications were marked and intimated to the candidate for rectification, which needs to be corrected during the correction window.
The GATE 2023 exam is scheduled to be conducted on February 4, 5, 11 and 12. Students who have completed the GATE registration 2023 with valid details will be issued the admit card. The GATE admit card 2023 will be released on January 3.
