The result of GATE 2023 will include the details like marks and rank secured by the candidates in the entrance examination. Candidates have to download their GATE 2023 result online from the official website. Candidates must download a print copy of GATE result 2023 and save it before the last date of admission. The authorities will release the GATE 2023 scorecard download link on March 21.
IIT Kanpur successfully conducted the Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) 2023 on February 4, 5, 11, and 12. IIT Kanpur released the provisional GATE 2023 answer key on February 21. Students will be allowed to raise objections against the GATE answer key from February 22 to 25, 2023.
How to download the GATE 2022 result?
- Log on to the GATE 2023 website -- gate.iitk.ac.in
- Login GATE 2023 enrollment id and password OR email id and password
- Upon successful login, click on the ‘View Result’ tab

As per the GATE 2023 paper pattern, the question paper was of objective type comprising three patterns of questions -- multiple choice questions (MCQs), multiple select questions (MSQs), and numerical answer type (NAT) questions. For every wrong answer marked in an MCQ, negative marks have been cut, while for MSQs and NATs, there were no negative marking for a wrong answer.
Each GATE 2023 paper is for a total of 100 marks, General Aptitude (GA) is common for all papers (15 marks) and rest of the paper covers the respective syllabus (85 marks).
