NEW DELHI: The Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Roorkee will open the registration window for Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) 2025 tomorrow, August 24. Interested candidates will be able to fill the GATE 2025 registration form through the official website, gate2025.iitr.ac.in. As per the schedule, GATE 2025 registration without late fee will end on September 26, 2024.
GATE 2025 final registration deadline with late fee is October 7. GATE 2025 exam is scheduled to be conducted on February 1, 2, 15, and 16 in two sessions. The first shift of the exam will be held from 9:30 am to 12:30 pm and the second session from 2:30 pm to 5:30 pm.
The GATE exam is held for candidates seeking admission to master’s programmes offered by IITs and the Indian Institute of Science (IISc) Bangalore.
GATE 2025 application fee
To complete the registration process for GATE 2025, candidates must pay the application fee. The fee is Rs 900 for those belonging to the Scheduled Caste (SC), Scheduled Tribe (ST), Persons with Disabilities (PwD) categories, as well as for female candidates. For all other candidates, the registration fee is Rs 1,800. The GATE 2025 application fee must be paid online via credit, debit card or net banking.

As per the official notification, the GATE 2025 admit card will be issued on January 2. Candidates will have to use their login credentials such as registration number and date of birth to download the GATE 2025 admit card.
