GATE 2026 Toppers' List: IIT Guwahati announces all names; Maninder tops computer science engineering

29 candidates secure perfect 1000 score as CS, mechanical and civil streams see top performers

Try NowThe Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Guwahati has released Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) 2026 branch-wise toppers list along with their scores. Earlier IIT Guwahati declared the GATE 2026 results on March 19 at gate2026.iitg.ac.in.
Apart from the GATE 2026 toppers IIT Guwahati has also released the cutoff marks as well.
As many as 29 candidates secured a perfect GATE score of 1000. The GATE scorecards are available for download from March 27 to May 31 . These scores will be used for admissions to MTech programmes as well as recruitment in Public Sector Undertakings (PSUs) .
IIT Guwahati GATE 2026 Toppers
In the Computer Science and Information Technology (CSIT) stream, Maninder secured the top rank with a perfect raw score of 92.57. Rahul Nehra topped Mechanical Engineering (ME) with 96.67 raw marks and a GATE score of 1000.
The cut-off score of CSIT for general candidates is 30 while as that of OBC-NCL, EWS stood at 27. For SC,ST and PWD candidates , the cutoff is 20. Some of the other toppers and cutoffs for the major branches are in the below table
