GGSIU withdraws spot round counselling results for BTech, BBA, LLB courses; new dates soon

GGSIU has withheld spot round 2 results and directed rechecking after a technical error in the counselling software was found, and seats were allotted to candidates “inadvertently.”
The Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University (GGSIU) has withdrawn the IP University counselling 2026 spot round results for several courses, including engineering, management, and law courses. GGSIU has directed rechecking for the spot round 2 online counselling for BCA, BBA, MBA Integrated, BTech, BCom, and BA/ BBA LLB after candidates were “inadvertently allotted seats” due to a technical error in the counselling software.

The error was noticed after a verification by the IP University. Therefore, GGSIU has also decided to get the results rechecked and revised in the interest of candidates who participated in the counselling process.
Furthermore, the schedule for spot round 3 offline counselling for BTech, BBA, BCA, BCOM (H), LE BTech, BA (ENG) and BA Eco courses through NLT, CET or CUET for registered and not admitted candidates for the academic session 2026-2027 has also been withdrawn.

GGSIU Delhi will get online spot round 2 results rechecked and revised in the interest of participating candidates for the following courses.

GGSIU Admissions 2026: Offline spot round
The IP University also stated in its notice that offline spot round 3 counselling will not begin on August 23. Candidates are to visit the university’s official website at ipu.ac.in as well as the online admission website admissions.nic.in for updates.
