The Goa Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education (GBSHSE) has declared the Goa HSSC (Class 12) result 2026 today, March 21. Close to 93% of Class 12 students have cleared the exam. They can access their results and scorecards online through the official websites of GBSHSE – results.gbshsegoa.net and gbshse.gov.in – by entering their seat number, school index, and date of birth.

Along with the online result, the board has announced that consolidated result sheets will be made available to schools from March 25, 2026, via the official portal. Schools can download these documents using their login credentials.

The Class 12 board examinations were conducted between February 10 and February 27, 2026. This year, a total of 17,283 students appeared for the Goa HSSC exams across various streams.

Alongside the declaration of results, the board has announced key upcoming dates for students. The window to apply for verification of marks will open on March 27, 2026, while the supplementary examination is tentatively scheduled to begin on April 27, 2026. Additionally, the annual HSSC Examination 2027 is expected to commence from February 11, 2027, with the detailed timetable to be released later.

Goa HSSC Result 2026: Pass percentage

A total of 17,283 regular students appeared for the Goa Board HSSC examination, including 8,203 boys and 9,080 girls. Of them, 16,067 candidates have passed, while 23 results have been kept reserved.

Among the successful candidates, 7,538 are boys and 8,529 are girls.

The overall pass percentage is 92.96%. Girls have recorded a higher pass rate of 93.93%, slightly ahead of boys, who achieved a pass percentage of 91.89%.

Goa HSSC Result 2026: Steps to check online

Students can access their marksheets by following the steps given below:

  • Visit the Goa Board's websites at gbshse.gov.in and the results.gbshsegoa.net.
  • In the section containing the most recent announcements, find the "Goa HSSC Result 2026" link.
  • Enter your seat number, school index number, date of birth, or registration ID as indicated on your admit card.
  • Enter the data to confirm your overall performance and grades.
  • Download, store, and print the marksheet for future reference.

Goa HSSC Result 2026: How to check via SMS

Students can use alternative methods like SMS or DigiLocker to access their results without delay.

Students can check their results via SMS by sending their seat number in the prescribed format to designated numbers. The result will be delivered directly to their registered mobile number, providing a quick and convenient option during peak traffic hours.

Goa HSSC Result 2026: Stream-wise performance

Among the streams, Science recorded the highest pass percentage at 93.90%, followed by Commerce at 92.90%. The Vocational and Arts streams posted pass rates of 92.27% and 92.21%, respectively. A total of 1,193 students have been placed in the ‘Needs Improvement’ category, while 23 results have been kept reserved, all of which belong to the Commerce stream.

Goa HSSC Result 2026: Category-wise performance

The board also shared performance data based on social categories. OBC students registered the highest pass percentage at 93.53%, followed by the General category at 92.98%. Students from the ST category achieved a pass percentage of 92.27%, while those from the SC category recorded 91.91%.
