Haryana government revises school timings for single, double shift schools from tomorrow

NEW DELHI: Haryana state government has announced the revised school timings for all government schools, government-aided schools and other schools functional in the single shift and the double shift across the state to be implemented from tomorrow, February 23, 2023.

As per the revised school timings, the single shift schools will now function between 8 am and 2:30 pm, while the double shift schools will function from 7 am to 12:30 pm in the first shift and from 12:45 pm to 6:15 pm in the second shift.

"The Haryana government has changed the time table of schools from February 23, 2023. Now single shift schools will start from 8 am to 2:30 pm and double shift schools from 7 am to 12:30 pm (first shift) and 12:45 pm to 6:15 pm (second shift)," reads the official tweet.

Meanwhile, the Board of School Education, Haryana (BSEH) has scheduled to conduct the Haryana Class 10 board exams 2023 from February 27 to March 25, 2023, whereas HBSE 12th board exams 2023 will be held from February 27 to March 28, 2023. The board exams 2023 will be organised from 12:30 pm to 3:30 pm. Students will have to reach the examination centre 30 minutes before the commencement of exam.

A total of 5,59,738 students will appear for Haryana board exams 2023. Of which, there are 2,96,329 Class 10 students and 2,63,409 Class 12 students. The examination will be conducted at about 1,475 examination centres, the board chairman, V P Yadav, informed in a press conference.
