Use NowNEW DELHI: The Department of Medical Education and Research, Haryana will open the registration window for state National Eligibility cum Entrance Test Postgraduate (NEET PG) 2024 counselling today, October 18. Interested candidates ill be able to fill the Haryana NEET PG 2024 counselling application form through the official website at hry.online-counselling.co.in.
"It is hereby notified that the Registration on the online web portal i.e. https://hry.online-counselling.co.in/ including editing (if any) of information submitted online and submission of choices shall begin from 18/10/2024 onwards", the official notification read.
The Haryana NEET PG counselling 2024 will be conducted in three rounds. However, the number of rounds may vary depending on the availability of vacant seats in each course. Additionally, UHSR may organize separate course-specific counselling sessions if certain courses have vacant seats.
Haryana NEET PG 2024 Counselling: Application fee
For Haryana NEET PG 2024 counselling, all candidates are required to pay a non-refundable registration fee as part of the application process. General or unreserved category applicants must pay Rs 2,500, while those from reserved categories, including SC, BC, PwBD, and EWS from Haryana, are charged Rs 1,250. This fee is compulsory to move forward with the counselling steps, which include registration, choice filling, and document verification.
Haryana NEET PG Counselling 2024: Reservation criteria
The reservation criteria for Haryana NEET PG Counselling 2024 includes several categories as determined by the state's counselling authority. Here is a breakdown of the key reservation details:
- Scheduled Castes (SC) : 15% of seats are reserved for candidates belonging to SC.
- Scheduled Tribes (ST) : 7.5% of seats are reserved for ST candidates.
- Other Backward Classes (OBC) : 27% of seats are reserved for OBC (non-creamy layer) candidates.
- Economically Weaker Sections (EWS) : 10% of seats are reserved for candidates from the EWS category.
- Persons with Benchmark Disabilities (PwBD) : 5% horizontal reservation is provided for candidates with disabilities across all categories.
In addition to the state quotas, these categories are also applicable to the 50% All India Quota (AIQ) seats, managed by the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC).
