HP TET 2024 registration begins for November session at hpbose.org; fee, exam pattern

NEW DELHI: Himachal Pradesh Board of Secondary Education has commenced the Himachal Pradesh Teachers Eligibility Test (HP TET) 2024 registration for November session from today, September 28. Interested and eligible candidates can fill up the HP TET 2024 application form by visiting the official website, hpbose.org. The HP TET 2024 November exam is scheduled to be held on November 15, 17, 24 and 26.

The HP TET 2024 registration deadline without late fee is October 18. Candidates will be able to register for the HP TET 2024 with late fees of Rs 600 from October 19 to October 21. As per the official notice, the HP TET 2024 admit card for November phase will be out 4 days before the commencement of the exam.

HP TET 2024 registration fee

The HP TET 2024 application fee is Rs 1,200 for General categories. On the other hand, candidates belonging to Scheduled Caste (SC), Scheduled Tribe (ST), Other Backward Classes (OBC) and Physically Handicapped (PH) are required to pay Rs 800 as HP TET 2024 application fee. The application fee can be paid online through credit card, debit card, UPI or net banking.

HP TET 2024 Registration: Eligibility criteria

Candidates can have a look at the HP TET 2024 eligibility criteria below.

Primary teachers

• Minimum 50% aggregate in senior secondary and diploma in elementary education.
• Senior Secondary with 50% aggregate and 4-year BElEd (passed or appearing).

Upper primary teachers

• Graduation with 50% aggregate and 1-year Bachelor in Education (BEd) (passed or appearing).
• Graduation with 45% aggregate and 1-year B Ed (passed or appearing), as per NCTE standards.
• Graduation with 50% aggregate and 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education.
• Senior Secondary with 50% aggregate and 4-year Bachelor of Elementary Education (BElEd) (passed or appearing).

HP TET 2024 November Session: Exam pattern

The HP TET 2024 November exam will be held in offline mode.The HP TET 2024 exam will include two papers. Each paper will consist of 150 multiple-choice questions. The HP TET 2024 paper 1 will cover subjects such as child development and pedagogy, Language 1, Language 2, environmental science, mathematics. Candidates will get 1 mark for each correct answer and there will be no negative marking for incorrect answers.
