Download NowNEW DELHI: The Himachal Pradesh Board of School Education (HPBOSE) has announced the HP Board Class 12 result 2025 today, April 2. Students who appeared for the exams can check their HP Board 12th result 2025 through the official website- hpbose.org. This year, the overall pass percentage for HP Board Class 12 result 2025 stands at 83.16%.
According to data released by the board, a total of 86,373 students appeared for the HPBOSE Plus Two exam 2025. Of them, 71,591 students have passed, while 5,847 were placed under the compartment category. As many as 8,581 students have failed in the HP Board 12th Result 2025.
Students will have to enter their HP Board exam roll number to check the HPBOSE 12th result 2025. The HP Board 12th result 2025 will include details such as the student's name, roll number, subject-wise marks, total marks, percentage, and pass/fail status.
In the HPBOSE Class 12 result 2025, students will have to secure a minimum of 33% marks in each subject to be declared pass in that subject. Students will also have to score at least 33% marks in aggregate to receive an overall passing grade.
HPBOSE 12th Result 2025: Toppers
Mehak, a student from Una district, topped the state by scoring 486 marks, achieving an impressive 97.2% in the board exams. She secured the first position in the overall merit list, having appeared from the science stream. Meanwhile, Ankita from Kangra district claimed the top spot in the arts stream with 483 marks.
From the commerce stream, Payal Sharma of Kangra secured the top position in the HP Board Class 12 exam 2025 with 482 marks, achieving 96.4 percent. Shagun from Una secured the second place with 487 marks. The third position is shared by Anaya Thakur of Una and Drishti Dutta of Solan, both scoring 477 marks.
HP Board 12th Result 2025: Re-evaluation and rechecking process
Students seeking re-evaluation or rechecking of their HP Board Class 12 answer sheets can apply online through the board’s official website. The deadline for submitting applications for HPBOSE 12th answer key re-evaluation or rechecking is June 1, 2025. The application fee for re-evaluation is Rs 1,000 per subject, while the fee for rechecking is Rs 800 per subject. Candidates are eligible for re-evaluation only if they have scored a minimum of 20 per cent marks in the relevant subject.
How to check HP 12th results 2025?
Students can follow the steps given below to check the HP 12th results 2025.
- Visit the official website: hpbose.org.
- On the homepage, navigate to the menu bar and select the ‘Results’ tab.
- Click on the link for the HP Board Class 12 result 2025.
- Enter the roll number in the designated login field.
- Click on the ‘Search’ button to proceed.
- The HPBOSE Class 12 result 2025 will be displayed on the screen.
- Download the HP Board Class 12 scorecard and take a printout for future reference.
Students can also check their HPBOSE Class 12 result 2025 via SMS. To do this, they need to open the SMS application on their phone, type the message in the format HP12 Roll_Number, and send it to 5676750. The HP Board 12th result 2025 will be delivered as an SMS to the same number.
HPBOSE has also released the names of the stream-wise toppers, along with their marks and school details. Students who are not satisfied with their marks can apply for re-evaluation or rechecking as per the schedule and guidelines that will be issued by the board soon on the official website.
