HSSC Group D admit card date postponed; download available from Nov 2

NEW DELHI, OCTOBER 29 : Haryana Staff Selection Commission (HSSC) has postponed the HSSC Group D admit card release date to November 2. Earlier, the admit card was scheduled to be released on October 29. The new date has been announced on the official website of HSSC. As per the official notice , “The admit card of Group D for exams to be held on November 10 and 11 will be released on November 2." However, the examination authority has not notified any reason for the extension. Group D admit cards for the exams to be held on November 17 and 18 will be released on November 7.
HSSC Group D admit card 2018 will be available online at http://www.hssc.gov.in/. Candidates will have to enter their registration number and date of birth to download the admit card. The admit card will have details like exam city, centre, date, shift etc.
Candidates are advised to check the details in HSSC Group D admit carefully. If there are any discrepancies they should contact the examination officials for correction. After downloading the admit card, candidates have to get it attested by a Gazetted Officer. Along with the admit card, candidates will have to carry one photo-identity proof like Driving License, Voter Card, Aadhaar Card, Passport etc to the examination centre.
HSSC examination will be conducted in two sessions. The exam for the morning session will be held from 10.30 am to 12 pm while that for the afternoon session will be conducted from 3 pm to 4.30 pm.
HSSC Group D written exam will comprise questions from General Awareness, Reasoning, Maths, Science, English, Hindi, History, Current Affairs, Literature, Geography, Civics, Environment, Culture etc of Haryana. The written exam will carry 90 marks. 75% weightage will be given to general awareness, reasoning, maths, science, English, Hindi, while 25% weightage will be given to history, current affairs. literature, geography, civics, environment, culture of Haryana. The candidates will be selected based on their performance in written exam and socio-economic criteria and experience.
HSSC Group D 2018 exam is conducted for recruitment to Group D posts like Peon, Beldar, Animal Attendant, Helper, Mali, Peon-cum-chowkidar etc. As many as 18,218 vacancies would be filled through this recruitment exam.
