Subscribe NowThe Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS) has extended the registration deadline for recruitment to IBPS Probationary Officer (PO) and Specialist Officers (SO) to July 28, 2025. Eligible candidates can be able to apply through the official website at ibps.in.
The institute will conduct the written test to fill a total of 6,215 vacancies, including 5,208 posts of PO and 1,007 for SO in October, 2025.
Earlier, the last date for the IBPS PO registrations 2025 was July 21.
As per the eligibility criteria for PO posts, candidates must have a graduation degree in any discipline or an equivalent qualification from recognition by the Government of India. Notably, the age cap for the competitive exam is between 20 and 30 years as on July 1, 2025.
General and Other Backward Classes (OBC) category candidates need to pay Rs 850 for IBPS SO, PO registration forms 2025. The registration fee for candidates with Scheduled Caste (SC), Scheduled Tribe (ST) and Persons with Benchmark Disability (PwBD) is Rs 175.

IBPSO PO SO Recruitment 2025: Steps to apply
Candidates looking forward to sit for the IBPSO PO SO exams 2025 should have to register themselves by following the steps given below.
- Go to the official website at ibps.in.
- On the homepage, click on the IBPS PO or IBPS SO registration links.
- A new page will open.
- Click on the Apply Online option.
- Fill the basic details and click submit.
- Then log in to your account and fill the required blanks in the application form.
- Pay the requisite application fee.
- Submit and download the confirmation page.
