ICAI Results 2018: CA CPT, Foundation and Final Result to be announced today

NEW DELHI, July 20: Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) will announce the result of CA CPT, Foundation and Final (Old & New) held in May/June 2018, today around 6:00 PM, i.e. on Friday, July 20, 2018. As per the latest information published by ICAI, the results will be made available in online mode and candidates will be able to check their results through the websites mentioned below or via email and SMS if they request for the same.
CA Foundation exam was held for the first time ever across four days on May 12, 14, 16, 2018, and CA CPT (June) session was conducted on June 17, 2018. Only those candidates who clear the exam by securing minimum required cutoff marks will be able to enrol in the next level of Chartered Accountancy course, i.e. Intermediate level.
How to check the CA CPT, Foundation and Final (Old & New) results?
To check the results of CA CPT, CA Foundation and CA Final (Old & New), candidates will have to key in their roll numbers as mentioned in the admit card, along with their registration or pin number. The results will be made available on the three websites given below:

Steps to receive results via Email or SMS
ICAI has also made arrangements for candidates to receive their CA CPT, Foundation and Final (Old & New) results via e-mail or SMS. Those desirous of receiving the results via email or SMS can register their requests by following the steps given below. Upon doing so, candidates will be provided with the results through the mode as desired. However, the pathway to register for receiving the result via email is not available at the moment. So, students can register for SMS services instead.
SMS: To receive the result of CA CPT, Foundation and Final through SMS service, candidates should type in following message, relevant to their specific examinations, and send it to 58888.

CA Foundation and CPT (May/June) Passing Criteria
To clear CA CPT (June) 2018 examination, candidates need to obtain a minimum of 50% marks overall (in four papers) and secure at least 30% marks individually in all four papers. Similarly, the passing criteria of CA Foundation 2018 (May) exam entail that candidates should receive at least 40% marks in each of the four papers individually and score a minimum of 50% overall.
