Admission to around 74 agricultural universities and institutes participating in ICAR counselling will be based on the qualifying status in Common University Entrance Test - Undergraduate (CUET UG 2025) and the minimum passing marks obtained in the Class 12 board exam or equivalent examination.
The National Testing Agency (NTA) conducted the CUET UG exam 2025 and published the provisional answer key along with the response sheet and question paper. The CUET UG results 2025 and final answer key expected to be out on the official website, icar.org.in.

ICAR CUET 2025: Eligibility
To be eligible for agriculture and allied sciences degree programmes offered by around 74 agricultural universities, students should have appeared in the CUET UG in domain subjects of physics, chemistry, biology, mathematics, and agriculture or inter-agriculture.
General, OBC-NCL, EWS candidates should have passed the Class 12 exam with at least 50% marks in aggregate and SC, ST, third gender, PwD students should have obtained at least 40% marks.
“There will be no rounding-off of the OGPA/percentage of marks of qualifying examination while deciding the basic eligibility of any candidate for admission e.g. if a candidate obtained 49.99% marks in his/her qualifying examination, then it will not be rounded-off to 50%,” it clarified.
The ICAR CUET UG counselling schedule will be notified soon on the website after the declaration of CUET results 2025, it said. It has also uploaded the ICAR CUET information bulletin on icar.org.in.
