Download EBookNEW DELHI: The Institute of Cost Accountants of India (ICAI) may announce the CMA Intermediate and CMA Final results 2022 by next week, as per the institute’s helpdesk. The CMA Final and Intermediate results will be available on the official website of ICMAI - icmai.in. However, there is no official notification yet on the CMA results June 2022 for Final and Intermediate programmes.

The institute has already declared the CMA Foundation result June 2022 , on August 05. The exams for Foundation were held on July 08, 2022.
In the case of CMA Intermediate and Final programmes, the results are long pending. The institute conducted CMA exams for Final and Intermediate from June 27 to July 04, in online, centre-based mode. However, the exams in some centres were cancelled and rescheduled due to technical glitches.
The rescheduled CMA exams for all fully and partially cancelled exam centres were held from July 31 to August 07, 2022, in online test centre mode.

Unhappy with the delay, several students are now protesting online. Taking Twitter, one user wrote, “We haven't received any update on #cmaresults as of now we are going to complete 3 months from the date of completion of July attempt exam.”

A section of students is also demanding the restoration of offline-based exams for CMA programmes to avoid technical issues in the online exams and delays in result declaration.
Questioning the online mode for CMA exams a user asked “If results are taking more time than offline exams, Then what is use of online exams”

Don't play with students career
Please conduct Dec 2022 exam in offline mode ?
The CMA exams are conducted twice a year in India. The delay in the announcement of the CMA result in the first session may also affect the December schedule. Meanwhile, the results for other finance programmes such as Company Secretary (CS) and Chartered Accountancy (CA) have already been declared as per their schedule. The CA results were declared on July 16, and CS Executive and Professional results were announced on August 25, 2022.
