CSEET July 2025 registration begins; exam on July 5

Check NowNEW DELHI : The Institute of Company Secretaries of India (ICSI) has started accepting online applications for the ICSI Company Secretary Executive Entrance Test (CSEET) July 2025 session exam. The last date for registration is June 15. The CSEET 2025 exam will be conducted on July 5 in remote proctored mode. Candidates can apply for CSEET 2025 registration from the official website smash.icsi.edu.
As per the ICSI notice, the exam can be opted from anywhere without going to exam centre. There is no negative marking in the CSEET 2025 exam. The exam will be held for 120 minutes. The registration fee for CSEET is Rs 2,000.
Additionally, registered candidates will have access to online teaching sessions and will be given CSEET guides 1 and 2 reference material for preparation. The CSEET exam is held four times a year in January, May, July, and November. Also, the CSEET May session exam will be held on May 3.
The CSEET exam syllabus includes business communication (50 marks), legal aptitude and logical reasoning (50 marks), economic and business environment (50 marks), and current affairs and quantitative aptitude (50 marks).
To qualify for the CSEET exam , candidates will have to score an aggregate of 50% marks and a minimum of 40% marks in each paper.

CSEET 2025: Eligibility criteria
To apply for the CSEET 2025 exam, candidates should have passed the Class 12 exam or equivalent, and candidates appeared for the Class 12 or equivalent exam can also apply for the exam. Additionally, candidates who have already qualified CS foundation, ICAI CA final exam or ICMAI CMA final courses are exempted from appearing for CSEET exam.
